Large-cap growth finally coming good?
People have been talking up the prospects of large-cap growth stocks for some time now. Are they are finally coming good? (via Kirk). Dennis Jensen, senior manager research at Russell Investment Group, thinks a strong performance from growth in August was just rotation. “Large-cap, growth stocks regained some of their footing in August,” he said. “But this shift was driven by sector performance, particularly for technology stocks, not necessarily a preference for growth stocks.” That may be true but there is undeniably good value among large-cap growth.
