Growth guru (perhaps) picks
John Reese at Forbes has picked a number of stocks that gurus might want to own. He thinks William O’Neil would want to get casual with Guess (GES), while Peter Lynch could be talking up Motorola (MOT), which has an attractive PEG ratio.
Reese admits his stock picking stragegy lacks originality: “As is the case with virtually all investment advisors, I have my own way of choosing stocks. But unlike most, I don’t claim any originality. In fact, I am an inveterate copier.” At least he’s honest!
