Motley Fool’s growth investor hall of fame
Motley Fool’s Tim Beyers has nominated four legends as the best growth investors of all time. He does hedge his bets though. “Unfortunately, there’s no way for me to accurately or fairly give you a rundown of the best growth investors,” he said. “With apologies to the dozens I’ve missed, here are a few that stand out in my memory”:
1. Philip Fisher, author of Common Stocks and Uncommon Profits and Other Writings
2. T. Rowe Price, founder of the money management firm that bears his name
3. Peter Lynch, Fidelity Magellan fund manager and author of One Up On Wall Street : How To Use What You Already Know To Make Money In The Market
4. Tom Bailey, founder of Janus Capital
